UT Extension’s Department of Family and Consumer Sciences delivers research-based education across Tennessee to help families choose and prepare foods that lead to healthy eating patterns.

Would you like to learn about food from another culture, new cooking techniques, or a new kitchen appliance? We offer programs to help you gain new skills and knowledge in the kitchen. We hope that you can join us at our next class!

Upcoming Program:

Whether you are a pro or a rookie when using this household appliance, feel free to join us for this fun hands-on workshop using a Multicooker. If you would like to bring yours from home to use, you are welcome to do so.

Our next program is tentatively scheduled on Monday, July 29th from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the Katom Chef Supply Store. Cost will be $20 per person. You will receive a recipe book and dinner provided. To get on the interest list, please contact the FCS Agent at 865-453-3695 or kadkin17@utk.edu.

It will be on May 28th from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the Katom Chef Supply Store in Kodak, TN. The cost is $30 per person! Which includes meal prep containers, recipe books, and meals will be provided.
