The 4-H Golden Eagle Award is earned by 4-Hers each year. To receive this award you must:
- Be an active 4-H Club Member in the 4th-12th grade
- Participate in at least one outside event. Events can be found under the “4-H Camps, Workshops, and Events” tab.
- Participate in each month’s club activity (Find more information on these contests under “4-H Clubs and Contests”):
- November – Public Speaking
- January – Poster Contest
- February – Essay Contest
- March – Photography Contest
- Complete ONE project book or activity sheet according to requirements and turn it into your teacher (along with Gold Eagle Award Application) by April 5, 2023. (4th Graders complete an Exploring 4-H Book that they received in their Club meeting. 5th Grade and up completes a project page.)
- Participate in at least one club Community Service Learning Project
- Record all activities on Gold Eagle Award Application during the year
The 2021 4-H Golden Eagle Award prize package includes:

Golden Eagle Award Applications, completed project books, and “Looking Forward and Thinking Back” plan forms are due to your teacher by April 5, 2023. 4-H Staff will pick up all completed applications and books from each school by noon on April 5th.
