4-H Camps and Events

There are many camps and conferences that 4-H Members can attend. Below is information on camps and conferences held at the county, region, and state level. This page is regularly updated so make sure to check back frequently for upcoming events!

2021 4-H Camp scholarships will be available for pick up at the Sevier County Extension Office March 8-19, 2021 from 9 am – 3 pm Monday – Friday. This year, scholarships can be used for any 4-H Summer Camp provided by Sevier County 4-H or Eastern Region events. Applications must be returned by 3 pm on March 26th and recipients will be notified by April 16th. Please contact Ms. Ashley (amccarter@utk.edu) with any questions.

Junior 4-H Camp will look a little different this year but we are so excited! We will be offering a one-day camp opportunity at Clyde Austin 4-H Center in Greenville, TN. This day camp is open to 4th-8th graders! More information and price will be available soon. Make sure to save the date!!

Camp will be held from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm each day at the Sevier County Extension Office. The camp is open to youth that are in 6th grade and up and is $15 for each camper. Campers must supply their own thread and material. Once registration closes, you will be contacted with more information on needed materials. Space is limited so make sure to get your registration in early.

Get those cameras ready! Let’s spend the day at Honeysuckle Hills with Ms. Regina, owner of the beautiful venue nestled at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.   You will have an amazing time learning how to get the very best photos from your camera.   Ms. Regina has a passion for photography and loves to share her passion with all that want to learn how to capture that perfect photo!   So, save the date for making wonderful memories.  Bring a bagged lunch and water. The camp will be from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. To RSVP your spot, please email Ashley McCarter (amccarter@utk.edu). Space will be limited due to COIVD-19 protocols.

The camp will be held from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm each day at the Sevier County Extension Office. The camp is open to youth in 4th-6th grade and costs $40 per camper. Lunch is provided! Space is limited so make sure to get your registration in early!

Below are events that count as an outside event for the Sevier County 4-H Golden Eagle Award:

The 2021 4-H Pet Show has moved to a virtual format. If you would like to participate, please email Ms. Ashley (amccarter@utk.edu) from a parent or guardian’s email with your name, grade, school, teacher’s name. She will then send you the link to a google drive to upload your 4-H Pet Show video. Your video should include your name, your pet’s name, and an interesting fact/trick/etc. about your pet.  Videos should be no more than 1 minute long.  Registration is due by March 5th and videos are due by March 10th.

Show off your sidewalk chalk art skills and your love for 4-H! To enter, submit a photo of your sidewalk art creation to Ms. Ashley (amccarter@utk.edu) from your parent or guardian’s email.  Your email submission should include your name, grade, school, and teacher. Submissions are due by April 1st.  A prize will be given to the winner of each school.
