Eat Your Backyard Series: Backyard Orchard Class

Description: Come eat breakfast with us and learn the basics of how to start your own orchard at home. We will discuss fruit selection, pruning techniques, & common problems/mistakes.

Metcalf Bottoms
August 11th, 2026
8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Location:Parking can be found at Parking lot, Metcalf Bottoms Picnic Area Road S, Gatlinburg TN 37738 Parking Pass required.
$5 daily permit that can be bought online or in the parking area.
Description: This is a four mile hike roundtrip from Metcalf Bottoms trailhead, to the Walker Sister’s house.
