Smallbore

Sevier County 4-H is excited to introduce a brand-new Smallbore (.22) Shooting Sports Team for the 2026–2027 year! This new program will give youth the opportunity to learn firearm safety, develop marksmanship skills, build confidence, and experience the teamwork and discipline that come with competitive shooting sports.

The Smallbore team is open to youth in grades 9–12 who are interested in learning more about the sport and becoming part of a team. No previous shooting experience is required. Participants will learn proper firearm safety and handling while working with trained coaches to develop their skills.

📅 Parent Meeting

September 14th at 5:00 PM

Parents and interested youth are invited to attend our parent and interest meeting to learn more about the team, expectations, practice schedule, equipment, and upcoming opportunities.

🎯 Practice Schedule

The team will practice every Thursday at 4:00 PM at the Gatlinburg Sportsman’s Club.

Our goal is to create a positive environment where youth can learn, grow, and challenge themselves while representing Sevier County 4-H in shooting sports competitions.

If your teen is interested in joining the new Smallbore Team, we encourage you to attend the September 14th meeting! We are excited to build this team from the ground up and look forward to seeing what our new shooters can accomplish.
