Sevier County 4-H Archery Team

The Smoky Mountain Archers 4-H program teaches youth proper archery techniques, safety, and sportsmanship while building focus, responsibility, and confidence. Whether you’re brand-new to archery or already experienced, we invite you to join us this season!

This program is open to 4th–12th grade 4-H members (as of January 1, 2026).
No experience is required β€” beginners are welcome!

Mandatory Parent & Athlete Information Meeting:
January 26th at 4:00 PM
UT Extension – Sevier County Office
First Practice: Late February (full schedule announced at meeting)
Weekly Practices: UT Extension Office
Parents/guardians must remain with their athlete at practices

Fee: $150 per athlete
Covers weekly practices, spring competition fees, team jersey, and equipment use/replacement
Registration and payment due by February 26, 2026
A completed 600A Form and 4-H Enrollment Form are required before attending practice
No refunds once registration is submitted

Archers will have the opportunity to participate in:
County Invitational – April 2
State Jamboree – April 11–12 (Cookeville)
State Invitational – July 31–August 1 (Crossville)
Target SMART Camp – May 25–29, 2026 (York 4-H Center)
Athletes must attend at least 5 practices to have competition fees covered and 3 practices minimum to compete at state events.

Genesis bows provided for first- and second-year shooters (limited supply)
Compound and recurve archers must provide their own bow and arrows
Equipment priority given to new team members
