The guide is updated twice a year to provide current information and help strengthen food security in our community.

Skill Up Tennessee is UT Extension’s SNAP Employment and Training program. We help eligible SNAP participants gain skills, training, work, or experience that will increase their ability to obtain regular employment. The ultimate goal is self-sufficiency. We can help you focus on short-term training leading to credentials for a future career. We can also help you determine if you qualify for additional support (such as gas cards or transportation, uniforms, testing fees, textbooks, etc.)
