A Fun and Creative Way to Learn About Saving!
The Piggy Bank Pageant is a hands-on financial education activity hosted by UT Extension Sevier County. Open to Pre-K through 12th-grade students, this program encourages young people to explore creativity while learning the value of saving money.
Participants are invited to design and build their own handmade piggy bank using any materials (except glass) — the only limits are imagination and size (must fit within 12” x 12” x 12”). Each entry should be functional, allowing money to be deposited and removed without damage.
County-level winners in each grade category will advance to the statewide Piggy Bank Pageant, where prizes and recognition await!
