Food Fit For You: Meal Planning

UT Extension’s Department of Family and Consumer Sciences delivers research-based education across Tennessee to help families choose and prepare foods that lead to healthy eating patterns.

This class will give you hands-on experience in portion sizing and creating quick, delicious meals for you to take to lunch for the week.

Join us for an interactive class that breaks down popular diet plans and shows you how to build balanced, realistic meals that fit your goals and lifestyle.

It will cost $30 per person and includes meal prep containers, food, and a resource guide.

This program encourages locals to learn creative, delicious, and healthy cooking methods.

We hope to be able to set up a booth at a majority of food pantries in the area to give out food samples and recipes for FREE.

So, if you see us at your local food pantry, come say “Hi!” and grab some recipes and resources.
