The Sevier County 4-H Horse Club gives youth the opportunity to learn, lead, and grow through their love of horses β whether they own a horse or not!
Our club focuses on developing horsemanship, leadership, and life skills in a fun, hands-on environment. Members learn about horse care, breeds, nutrition, anatomy, behavior, and safety while also building responsibility, confidence, and teamwork.
Throughout the year, members can participate in:
- π Educational Meetings & Clinics β Learn grooming, showmanship, and horse management skills.
- π‘ Horse Bowl & Hippology Contests β Test horse knowledge through fun, team-based competitions.
- π Judging & Speaking Events β Practice critical thinking and public speaking while learning to evaluate horses.
- π€ Community Service Projects β Give back to the community while promoting the 4-H motto: βTo Make the Best Better.β
