Join the Sevier County 4-H Dairy Products Judging Team!

Do you enjoy learning about dairy foods and agriculture? The Sevier County 4-H Dairy Products Judging Team offers youth an exciting opportunity to develop decision-making, critical thinking, and communication skills while exploring the science behind dairy products.

As a member of the team, participants will:

  • Learn to identify and evaluate a variety of dairy products, including milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, cottage cheese, and sour cream.
  • Practice recognizing flavor and quality characteristics in dairy products.
  • Develop knowledge of dairy production, processing, and food safety.
  • Strengthen public speaking and teamwork skills through judging contests and oral reasons.
  • Represent Sevier County 4-H while competing against youth from across the state.

No previous experience is required—we’ll help you learn everything you need to be successful!

Who Can Join?

Youth entering 4th through 11th grade are invited to join the Sevier County 4-H Dairy Products Judging Team. Whether you’re new to dairy judging or have participated before, everyone is welcome to learn, grow, and compete.

Practice Schedule

Team practices will be held every Tuesday from 6:00–7:30 p.m. During practices, members will gain hands-on experience evaluating dairy products, learn judging techniques, build product knowledge, and prepare for upcoming competitions.
