Sevier County 4-H Horse Club

The Sevier County 4-H Horse Club gives youth the opportunity to learn, lead, and grow through their love of horses β€” whether they own a horse or not!

Our club focuses on developing horsemanship, leadership, and life skills in a fun, hands-on environment. Members learn about horse care, breeds, nutrition, anatomy, behavior, and safety while also building responsibility, confidence, and teamwork.

Throughout the year, members can participate in:

  • πŸ‡ Educational Meetings & Clinics – Learn grooming, showmanship, and horse management skills.
  • πŸ’‘ Horse Bowl & Hippology Contests – Test horse knowledge through fun, team-based competitions.
  • πŸ† Judging & Speaking Events – Practice critical thinking and public speaking while learning to evaluate horses.
  • 🀝 Community Service Projects – Give back to the community while promoting the 4-H motto: β€œTo Make the Best Better.”
