In the FCS Skill-A-Thon contest, you will identify different equipment and techniques in a multitude of areas such as sewing, clothing, food, cooking, and interior design. Team members will also be able to evaluate a Family and Consumer Sciences related scenario to find solutions to a specific problem.
This team is open to any 6th-12th grade 4-H member, and there will be a $20 fee to join to cover study materials for the judging team as well as a shirt. The goal for these practices will be to prepare youth for the Eastern Region 4-H FCS Skill-A-Thon contest held in July.
