We’re excited to announce registration is now open for the 2026 Sevier County 4-H Chick Chain Project!
This year’s featured breed is the Rhode Island Red — a hardy, friendly, and classic favorite! ❤️
About the Project
The 4-H Chick Chain teaches youth responsibility, record-keeping, and poultry care as they raise baby chicks into healthy laying hens. Participants will receive day-old chicks and learn the skills needed to care for them throughout the project. Those who receive chicks may showcase their birds at the 4-H Pullet Show during the Sevier County Fair in August 2026, where awards will be given to top entries! 🏅
Sibling Option
Have a sibling who wants to participate? Use the sibling fee to share a flock!
Please make sure to purchase a flock large enough for at least three chicks per sibling.
Important Dates
- Registration Deadline: December 6, 2025
⚠️ Due to chick availability, no late registrations will be accepted.
