Honor Club is where motivated young people come together to grow as leaders, serve their community, and make a difference. Whether you’re passionate about helping others, developing new skills, or making lifelong friends, Honor Club is the place for you.
Throughout the year, members participate in exciting leadership activities, community service projects, team-building events, and opportunities to represent Sevier County 4-H throughout Tennessee.
What is Honor Club?
Honor Club is a leadership and service organization for dedicated 4-H members who want to:
Have fun while making a positive impact in their community
- Build confidence and leadership skills
- Give back through meaningful community service
- Meet other youth who enjoy making a difference
- Develop communication and teamwork skills
- Prepare for scholarships, college, and future careers
- Strengthen their 4-H portfolios and resumes
Every meeting includes hands-on activities, leadership development, planning service projects, and opportunities to connect with other members.

Who can join?
Honor Club is open to Sevier County youth in grades 7 through 12 who are ready to challenge themselves, serve others, and become leaders in their school and community.
Whether you’ve been involved in 4-H for years or are just beginning your leadership journey, we’d love to help you grow.

Being a member of 4-H Honor Club can open the door to even more leadership, service, and travel opportunities through Tennessee 4-H All Stars!
Tennessee 4-H All Stars is the second level of recognition in the Tennessee 4-H program, following Honor Club. All Stars brings together dedicated 4-H members who want to continue developing their leadership skills while making a difference in their communities.
The All Star motto is simple but powerful:
SERVICE
All Stars live out this motto through individual and group service projects at the county, regional, and state levels. Along the way, members build friendships with other 4-H’ers from across Tennessee, strengthen their leadership skills, and have opportunities to attend special conferences and events.
To be considered for Tennessee 4-H All Star membership, youth must:
- Be an active 4-H member
- Have completed the 8th grade
- Be a member of the Tennessee 4-H Honor Club
- Demonstrate outstanding leadership ability
- Demonstrate commendable character
- Complete above-average 4-H project work
- Show a willingness to serve others
The first three requirements are required for All Star membership.
The All Star application is included as the final page of the Honor Club application, so Honor Club members can begin working toward this next level of recognition as they continue their 4-H journey.
All Stars are encouraged to look for ways they can make a difference in their communities through meaningful service.
Service opportunities may take place at the county, regional, or state level and allow members to identify community needs, plan and complete projects, work with others, and reflect on the impact of their service.
All Star groups can even receive statewide recognition for their service through awards such as the Don Bowman Project Award and Peggy Davis Service Award.
One of the best parts of becoming a Tennessee 4-H All Star is the opportunity to participate in special conferences, trips, service projects, and leadership experiences with other 4-H members from across East Tennessee and the state!
All Star events are designed to bring members together for service, leadership, fellowship, personal growth, and fun. These experiences are also a great way to meet other 4-H members and make friendships that extend beyond your county.
Want to take your leadership experience even further?
All Stars have opportunities to pursue regional and state leadership positions.
Each Tennessee 4-H region elects youth officers to help lead its All Star program. Regional and state All Star leaders come together through the All Star High Council, where they help guide the organization, discuss All Star programming, establish service priorities, strengthen their leadership skills, and represent fellow 4-H members.
These positions give members an opportunity to go beyond participating and take an active role in leading Tennessee 4-H!
Becoming a Tennessee 4-H All Star gives members the opportunity to:
- Give back to their community through meaningful service
- Attend regional and state conferences
- Meet 4-H members from across East Tennessee and the state
- Build leadership and communication skills
- Participate in special All Star activities
- Pursue regional and state leadership positions
- Receive recognition for outstanding service
- Continue growing within the Tennessee 4-H recognition program
- Make friendships and memories that last well beyond 4-H
