A limited number of 4-H Camp Scholarships will be available for 2026. Scholarship applications must be picked up at the 4-H Office, 752 Old Knoxville Highway, adjacent to the Sevier County Fairgrounds, from March 2nd through April 3rd (Mon-Fri, 8 AM-5 PM). They CANNOT be mailed to you.
The final deadline for returning the application to the 4-H Office is April 3, 5:00 p.m.
Scholarships are based on financial need and can be used for any camp hosted or advertised by Sevier County 4-H. Scholarship recipients will be notified by April 10, 2026.

Sevier County 4-H Speech Contest
Are you ready to showcase your speaking skills and compete against other 4-H members across the county? Join us for the County Speech Contest, open to grades 4 through 12. Participants will compete by grade level, with ribbons awarded to all speakers and special prizes for the top three in each grade. The first-place winners will receive a $25 check plus a certificate for $100 off a trip to the Junior 4-H Camp (grades 4-6), Junior High Camp (grades 7-8), or 4-H Round-Up (grades 9-12). Plus, county winners will earn the chance to represent Sevier County at Regional Speaking Events!

Overnight 4-H Camps:
Highlights from Last Year
These regional camps were offered during the previous summer and are shared here to give families a sense of the fun, learning, and opportunities available through Sevier County 4-H. While dates and details may change, we hope these examples spark ideas and excitement for future camps!
Campers can enjoy various activities like swimming, creek stomping, zip-lining, archery, rifle shooting, crafting, playing gau-gau, making new friends, reuniting with old ones, and creating unforgettable memories. The camp starts on Monday morning and concludes on Friday, with 4-H agents and trained adult and teenage volunteers supervising the campers throughout their stay.
Dates: June 8th-12th
Cost: $365 (Transportation is provided for campers to and from camp, campers are required to ride the bus to camp.)
Grades: 4-6
A deposit of $65 is required when registering for camp to reserve your spot. Full payments can also be made at registration if desired. Balances are due by May 15th. Spaces are limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration will open at 9 AM on April 10th. No registrations will be accepted online or in the office before this time.

This is 4-H Shooting Sports Camp, an exciting camp experience for campers who have completed 5th-9th grade and are active members of one of the Sevier County shooting sports teams. Youth learn appropriate skills to succeed in a variety of shooting sports and related areas such as archery, riflery, shotgun use, muzzleloading, and outdoor skills. Skills include firearms safety, correct form, responsible use, and life skills. 4-Hers attending this camp have a camping adventure located in the natural environment of a 4-H center. 4-H members and volunteer leaders will have an opportunity to make new friends, experience adventure, and accept responsibility for group living in a camp setting.

Junior High Academic Conference is an educational program on the campus of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Participants receive intensive training in their 4-H project areas under the supervision of university scientists and specialists and explore related career opportunities. The conference provides a variety of rewarding and fun-filled experiences in classroom, outdoors, and laboratory settings. Learn more information on the Academic Conference website.

4-H Electric Camp is a fun-filled, rewarding adventure in electricity. You will explore the world of energy, electricity, energy conservation, electrical safety, and other basic sciences in fun-filled, “hands-on” learning activities.
You will work with electrical specialists from across the state in learning centers. Each learning center will consist of hands-on activities to learn by doing. You will also have the chance to meet other 4-H’ers from across Tennessee and explore careers in energy, electricity, and basic sciences. It’s an electrifying experience!
Dates: June 23rd-26th

This is 4-H Survivor Junior High Camp, an exciting camp experience for campers who have completed 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. All campers are placed into one of four tribes, Onvee, Bula Bula, Gaholi, or Rumbra. Throughout the week, campers will complete in Tribal Challenges and earn points for their team. The week kicks off with the Amazing Race, a thrilling challenge where tribes compete in different events and race from one end of the camp to the other.

Join us for a hands-on day of fishing, fun, and fresh-catch cooking! In partnership with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA)! Campers will learn fishing basics and techniques in a beautiful outdoor setting. After a morning on the water, students will dive into a lesson on how to clean and cook their catch.
